The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride: Riding in style for a worthy cause

Swiss Moto Pass is working in partnership with the DGR in Valais and the canton of Vaud

Every year around this time, thousands of motorcyclists around the world dust off their tweed suits, bow ties, and finest classic motorcycles to take part in a parade unlike any other: The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR). Behind the elegance and retro flair lies a powerful message: to raise awareness about men’s health and collect donations to support programs that focus specifically on prostate cancer and mental health.

Why this movement is important

The DGR achieves something rare: it brings together very diverse communities for a simple, positive, and visible initiative. By cycling together, participants help change perceptions of men’s health issues while supporting specific initiatives through the Movember Foundation, which has been the DGR’s official charity partner since 2016.

Swiss Moto Pass is on board: official sponsor of Valais & Vaud

This year, Swiss Moto Pass decided to officially support the movement by becoming a sponsor of DGR Valais and DGR Vaud (Lausanne).
After all, motorcycling is, of course, about the open road… but it’s also a community that can rally behind a cause that goes beyond helmets and the miles traveled.

See you this Sunday, the 17th, in Sierre: Come by and meet us

The DGR Valais will take place on May 17, 2026, in Sierre; the meeting time is set for 9:30 a.m.
We’ll be there with a Swiss Moto Pass booth: the perfect opportunity to chat, meet like-minded people, discuss routes and the season, and, above all, experience the spirit of the DGR firsthand.

If you decide to participate, keep in mind: dress smartly, bring a motorcycle with character… and above all: ride for a good cause.
