Monnier is above all the story of Olivier Monnier, an enthusiastic rider and tuner, who decided to register his first model for the Swiss market in 1990: the MONNIER MXR 600 R, which was based on a Honda XR 600 R. This was the start of a long series, during which around 20 other motorcycles and quads were registered for Switzerland and Europe. The company quickly established itself in the motorcycle world and specialized in enduro, rally raids and supermotard. In 1995, Olivier Monnier took part in the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally, which he finished in 15th place overall. The competition allows him to consolidate his reputation, showcase his expertise and promote Monnier products. In 2014, SP Racing Team SA was approached by the French importer of an Asian brand to develop and distribute the XRF model in Switzerland. After numerous tests, successful development and obtaining European approval, marketing under the Monnier brand began in 2015. Since then, the company has built up a solid reputation for its excellent products, which are distributed in Switzerland and Europe. Every Monnier motorcycle that leaves the workshop is carefully checked by a team of passionate experts to ensure quality and performance.
