Alpage du Lein
On Mont-Chemin, above Martigny and Saxon or Sembrancher and Levron, the wooded mountain pastures invite you to take a stroll. The Alpage du Lein is located directly above the pass, which can be reached by car, and is home to 150 cows, almost all of them of the Hérens breed, goats and pigs. The farm building houses a cheese dairy and a lovely bar. The place is relaxing and the view from the pass over the entire Val de Bagnes to the Italian border is majestic. Megan and Florent are the new tenants of the Alpage du Lein. Florent, a farmer, has always been passionate about the Hérens breed and his partner Megan, a nurse, decided to follow his dream. As she is from Saxon and he is from Levron, Le Lein was an obvious choice. They are united at the Alm and look forward to welcoming you in the summer.
